Red Rope is a walking and climbing club with a difference.
We’re a socialist and green club, run by our members.
We care about the politics of the outdoors. People’s right to roam is under threat. Land use is a critical issue in the climate emergency. Red Rope members care about these issues and about encouraging more people to get into the outdoors. We have always been a very inclusive club. Over half of our members are women.
And we’re more than that!
Why Join Red Rope:
Red Rope organises walks and trips all over the United Kingdom, with over a hundred trips a year – everything from easy local walks to longer trips to the mountains.
